Self harm is when a person hurts themselves because they want to. Boys and girls can harm themselves. Most self harm victims are under 25 years old and some bisexuals and lesbians. Rather than talking about their problems, cutters find a way to cope with their feelings in a negative outlook. I know it sounds crazy but, to cutters bleeding may be the only feeling they can control. & Bleeding enough can make them feel dizzy or numb which they seem to think makes the problem better.
Cutting is not a joke, if you know someone who intentionally hurts themselves don't just sit back and watch even if they say their ok. GET THEM HELP.
